Puddles of My Fiction: Pool

Read Matt Domino's short story, "Pool," which is featured in the latest edition of the Montreal Review.

Good afternoon, my Puddlers.

It's Thanksgiving Week so I know that like most of you, I'm running around trying to get as much done before the long holiday weekend.  We're all going to be ripping through turkey legs, artisanal oyster stuffings, cranberry sauces, ice cold Miller High Lifes, pouring coffee down our pants after a nap and making leftover turkey ass sandwiches; and we all know that at some point, one of us is going to hump a pie (or fridge).

So, this will be a slow week for the blog. I don't think I or any of the contributors will be putting anything new up. However, a short story I wrote around this time last year is featured in the latest edition of The Montreal Review. It's a pretty straightforward read and I think the story itself is solid. Of course, I wrote it a year ago, so to me I actually think it sucks and that the stuff I'm writing now is way better. However, you should definitely read it if you like pool and have liked other stories of mine.

That's all I've got for you my Puddlers. Read my story here, enjoy your Thanksgivings wherever they may be, and make sure to watch more NBA than NFL. The Eagles suck and so does basically the entire NFL.
