Derby Day

The Kentucky Derby is today and I don't have much to say other than that I will be drinking some mint juleps and sitting out in the near 90 degree sun and getting sunburn all over my body.  As usual, I am disappointed with the horses in the Kentucky Derby and the entire Triple Crown because no one simply named their horse "Joe."  One of my dreams has been to see a picture of the horse that won the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness or the Belmont with big headline above it that reads "JOE DOES IT AGAIN!!"  My roommate, Erik Gundel, made a terrific mock-up of this blessed event, but alas it will not actually be coming true this year.

In other news, the Thunder lost a heartbreaker to the Lakers last night in Game 6.  They have been eliminated in disappointing fashion.  I may get in to a breakdown of this a little more next week.

However, today, all I really wanted to point out was a bit of an addition, reorganization of the blog.  At the top of the blog you will notice that three new subsections have been added - Puddles of Music, Puddles of My Sports and Puddles of My Stupidity. These sections organize all the writing I have done on music, sports, and stupid lists respectively.  I will be adding posts that pertain to each of these sections as they go up, so that when they are bounced from the main page, it will be easier for you all to find the gems of wisdom and hilarity that are contained within each.
